Our School
Dr. Felisha Williams
I was born and raised in McDonough, Georgia, about 15 miles outside of Atlanta. I moved to South Carolina over 25 years ago with my husband, and we have two sons. During the last twenty plus years, I have obtained several professional degrees: a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education Administration from Charleston Southern University, and a Doctoral Degree from Argosy University in Instructional Leadership. As the new principal of Lake Marion Middle School, it is imperative for me to preserve the successful aspects of our school culture while being open to potential changes that shift in leadership. At Lake Marion Middle, our culture is embraced by our stakeholders. I plan to ensure that every child, in every classroom, every day has the opportunity to learn and grow in an enriching and equity-centered instructional environment. Together, we will do “whatever it takes” to set a non-negotiable standard of equity and excellence for each student, regardless of ethnicity, zip code, socioeconomic status, language, or gender. My mission is to ensure each and every student has the opportunity to engage in a quality educational experience that will enable them to reach and expand their potential, and prepare them to become productive, responsible and ethical contributors to our society.

Dr. Stacey Rock-Gilmore
It gives me great pleasure to be a member of such a dynamic team at Lake Marion Middle School. Proudly, I have served the eastern portion of Orangeburg County School District for over thirty years. During my tenure in the school district, I have had the privilege to work as Elementary/Middle School teacher and Middle/High School Counselor. As I embark upon this new milestone, teamwork has been very instrumental in my longevity as an educator. Helping children reach their full potential, by developing a plan and identifying their purpose is the driving force behind my educational commitment.
Humbly, it is an honor for me to be a member of this village, where we are collectively, “Striving for Excellence by, Standing on Business, Building Capacity and Sustaining Success” for ALL students. Cultivating and nourishing students’ talents and skills will lead to greater rewards. More importantly, all students can learn and grow in a healthy environment with the support and dedication of all stakeholders.
As a member of the Lake Marion Middle School village, we are training our students of today, to become future leaders of tomorrow. This is a student-centered learning environment, where we promote students’ academic success, along with their career and social-emotional development. This educational journey takes the entire community to ensure that our children are equipped with life-skills that will lead to a purpose-driven life, so they can become productive citizens in this society.
Here at LMMS, we are building capacity, one building block at a time for future generations to come!
